This was such a cute collection and I absolutely adored this. I had a smile on my lips all the way through. It is a perfect children’s book (which it is btw), and if your kid loves dogs then this book should be added to your shelves. Actually, if you love dogs then this is a great book for you too.
Honey is a Great Dane. She is also the dog version of Sherlock Holmes, but kinder. And with more drool. Along with her other dog friends, she helps humans and other animals solve mysteries. She is kind, brave (although she gets scared) and with a heart that matches her size. The other dogs in her group of detectives are a funny bunch, and their antics will make you laugh.
The plots? Even for me, the stories were exciting and definitely held suspense. Since its a children’s book, there is no violence, nor is the themes ever too dark. Which was lovely. Sometimes even adults want some nice easygoing mystery and this provides just that.
Do I recommend it?
If you are a dog lover or a parent, then this book is for you. It is really cute and I can see myself reading this with my kids in the future.
