What Are You Reading Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Its A Reading Thing. To participate, open the book you are currently reading to page 34 (or 34% in your ebook) and answer these three questions. If you have a blog, leave a link down in the comments so that others can visit and see your post. If not, just leave a note with your answers.
The Questions:
1. What is the name of your current read?
I’m reading two different books at the moment: Talon by Julie Kagawa and Lessons for Suspicious Minds by Charlie Cochrane.
2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your ebook and share a complete sentence (or two!)
I crouched in the damp, steamy undergrowth of the Brazilian rain forest, insects humming around me, feeling sweat trickle down my back beneath my combat armor.
Talon by Julie Kagawa, p.34
They didn’t need to get Hammond to rouse out Jonty’s father; following the direction of some remarkably loud snoring quickly ran him to ground.
Lessons for Suspicious Minds by Charlie Cochrane.
3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?
A world filled with dragons or England in 1909. Neither to be honest. Because dragons are scary (at least in this book) and 1909 was not a good year for woman in all honesty.
